Pleasant really isn't a word Lapis would use to describe it though, since that's a little bit of an understatement.
What the author got wrong, however? Is kinda how overwhelming it all is. Surprisingly, Peridot's attempt at reassurance falls flat, mostly because she doesn't need it. In fact, she feels like she could absolutely throttle Peridot with how reassuring she is.
