You know, the fanfiction had definitely hid a few points right about this entire thing. It's instinctual in a way that Gems like them have no business knowing? It's carnal, which is a word only recently relegated to her vocabulary. It's also extremely good. Pleasant really isn't a word Lapis would use to describe it though, since that's a little bit of an understatement.

What the author got wrong, however? Is kinda how overwhelming it all is. Surprisingly, Peridot's attempt at reassurance falls flat, mostly because she doesn't need it. In fact, she feels like she could absolutely throttle Peridot with how reassuring she is.
