Peridot stares some more, brows knitting together with concern. Since Lapis has backed off, she decides-- with considerable conscious effort-- to change back into her normal self, seated cross-legged on the floor in front of the door with a worried expression on her face. There's an undercurrent of panic from her end, a fear that she's fucking this up and scaring Lapis off.
